Chicago has put up a monument to Mr. and Mrs. Obama’s first kiss, and Mr. Obama has been busy editing the State Department’s information about other countries so anyone researching, say, the historical relationship between the US and England ends up learning just how great Mr. Obama thinks he is.

We live in a culture of being famous for being famous, of putting yourself in front, and we wonder at the loss of character and honesty in our midst. We have politics by celebrity, and we wonder at the horrible state our nation is in.

A nation led by (self centered) children has much to fear.
